25 Felt Project Supplies to Invest In
I thought it would be helpful to include a master list of all of the supplies needed to make the felt projects I’ve included below. I realize not everyone likes to make multiple trips to Target and Walmart like us – LOL – and it can be really helpful to have a stash of craft supplies on hand for days you’re stuck inside and desperate for activities to keep your kids occupied!
I was careful to curate multiple crafts that use the same supplies to maximize the use you get out of each, and for those who don’t have easy access to a craft store and/or prefer to do their shopping online, I included links to each product on Amazon so you can order everything from the comfort of your living room.

6 Felt Board Playsets for Kids
If you want to work on these felt projects for kids with your older children, but need ideas to keep your younger kids occupied while still feeling included, felt board playsets may be the answer to your prayers! You can make your own felt pieces, or purchase themed sets for a small price. See below for some of our favorites!
Dress Me Up Felt Set
 Felt Food Pieces
 Farm Playset
 Vehicle Playset
 Wild Animal Playset
 Zoo Playset
You’ll obviously need a felt board to complete this activity, and Buggy and Buddy has a great tutorial to teach you how to make your own HERE.
If you’re not in the mood for a DIY project, Amazon has inexpensive portable felt boards for on-the-go fun (we loved this felt board by Creativity for Little Kids when my daughter was young) as well as tabletop felt boards (Learning Resources makes a great one).
I hope these felt projects for kids inspire you to find fun ways to have fun and connect with your children at home. Remember to keep it simple and fun, and don’t be afraid to challenge your little ones to more advanced projects to help build their confidence. They may teach you a thing or two about sewing along the way!
